1. Our role
Owl Uptime, located in Istanbul, Türkiye, is a controller for account, website, service, and direct support data. Paddle independently processes purchase and payment data as Merchant of Record. For personal data submitted by customers through monitoring configurations, incident workflows, integrations, or status pages, Owl Uptime generally acts as a processor on the customer’s documented instructions.
2. Data-protection principles
We design processing around lawfulness, fairness, transparency, purpose limitation, data minimisation, accuracy, storage limitation, security, and accountability. The Privacy Policy provides the categories, purposes, legal bases, sharing, transfer, and retention information relevant to the Service.
3. Your rights
Subject to applicable conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent, and information about processing or recipients. KVKK Article 11 rights may also apply. You may complain to the competent data-protection authority after following any required controller-request procedure.
4. Requests
Send requests to [email protected]. State your country, account email, relationship to the workspace, and the right you want to exercise. We may verify identity and authority. If the relevant customer controls the data, we will assist that customer or direct you to them. We respond within the period required by applicable law.
5. Processors, hosting, and transfers
Primary OwlUptime service and monitoring data is hosted in Germany. Paddle independently processes purchase and payment data as Merchant of Record, and enabled integrations may process alert data in other countries. We use service providers only for necessary functions and apply contractual, organisational, and technical safeguards. Where required for transfers for which Owl Uptime is responsible, we use an approved transfer mechanism. Enterprise customers may request a data processing agreement at [email protected].
